It's been a long time since I've posted to the blog! I got a few items for the kitchen a couple of weeks ago, kitchen scales, cannisters, plate and a chicken picture (not sure where to put it yet). I just placed a big order with 'Abasketof" on Etsy including baskets of apples, eggs, strawberries etc..I can't wait for them to arrive as more food will make the kitchen really come alive I think. Still toying with the idea of staining the floorboards with something, I think they may be a little pale looking...

Kitchen sink & floorboards
Made some more progress on the kitchen this week. I bought some iron on wooden floorboards on ebay. They were quite easy to put on but I think the colour might be a bit pale so I may be staining the wood at some stage. Also a gorgeous little kitchen sink arrived in the mail yesterday from Italy, looks very good I think :)

New furniture!
Look what arrived today, a new dresser and kitchen bench that I bought on Etsy! So pleased with how it looks, they are both perfect. Can't wait to start filling the shelves with lots of goodies. I have ordered some floorboards for the kitchen, hopefully they will arrive soon too then I can really get started on this kitchen :)
New bears available
I have 2 new bears available for adoption in my Etsy shop (see shop link on right hand side). "Butter" is a just 1.25 inches tall and is made from my popular tubby teddy design. The second bear is named "Flossy" and is 5 inches tall and made out of beautiful soft pink fur.

More progress on the dollhouse
Started working on the front of the dollhouse, hopefully this weekend I'll get to the point where I can put the hinges on and have the front and roof connected to the house. I've also painted the kitchen walls, a pale lemon colour

Miniature loaf of bread
Here is my first attempt at using polymer clay. I followed a tutorial on YouTube. It turned out quite well and it was super easy, looking forward to doing more.
